Most of the time, it shows up quietly.
Energy feels thin. Recovery takes longer. Small stressors land harder than they used to. Hunger, sleep, and motivation feel less reliable. You keep going anyway, often on caffeine and momentum.
These aren’t failures or lack of discipline. They’re signals that capacity is being used faster than it’s being rebuilt.
Pacing, rest, and consistency are how reserves return. Not all at once. Gradually. Repeatedly.
